Beginning Phonics Readers--Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade

The collections of printable books below were created for beginning and emergent readers. They have been tested with guided reading groups in my own classroom. The printable books are phonics-based. Set 1 focuses on CVC words and beginning sight words and is appropriate for use in preschool and kindergarten reading. Set 2 builds upon what was learned in the first 10 books, adding harder sight words and words with blends and digraphs. This set is on a kindergarten and/or first grade reading level. Set 3 reviews some skills learned in the first 2 sets of beginning books while adding more words with blends and digraphs, as well as words with long vowels.
