Reading Games--Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade

“Teacher Tam’s Reading Games” were created for use in preschool, kindergarten, and first grade classrooms. Some games are more appropriate for one grade or the other. Most of the games can be adjusted to meet the needs of students working on various skill levels, whether they need a challenge or an additional review of certain concepts.

Concepts addressed include: letter sounds, CVC blending, sight words, beginning consonant sounds, blends, digraphs, and words with long vowels.
